Providing beauty with function is always a good thing! The pattern provides instructions for you to customize the covers to your bowls so the fit is perfect every time. Not only do these keep the bugs away, but they also add a touch of elegance to a summer table!
The covers also work well for other uses. Why not make them to fit mason jars? Add a buttonhole on top for a straw and you have a great drink cover! Or use one to cover and store your sourdough starter while it is being fed.
TRUNK ORGANIZER
This trunk organizer features four separate compartments and two outside pockets, providing lots of storage. The sections and dividers are all sewn and bound individually so construction is a piece of cake. The outside handles provide ease of mobility when in use. When storing, collapse it, but it is so pretty, why not always leave it ready?
Planning a trip to the beach? What a great way to store and carry towels, floaties, sunscreen, repellant, sand toys…you get the picture. Once you start thinking outside of the box, you’ll want several and so will your friends!
Since the template for the curved top is over-sized, it is not printed on the pattern. Instead, you can download it from the Cut Loose Press website.

Use scraps from other holiday projects and coordinate everything at the same time. Or keep several on hand as wrappings for holiday gifts, adding that awe factor we all love.
Since the stocking template is over-sized, it is not printed on the pattern. Instead, you can download it from the Cut Loose Press website and blow it up to size. Or trace your favorite heirloom stocking that fits onto the pieced blocks.

This quilt is a perfect introduction to a quilt-as-you-go quilt! Make two different sizes of log cabin blocks using the Creative Grids® Log Cabin Trim Tool Two by Jean Ann Wright. Quilt the individual blocks after they are constructed. Quilting small units at a time makes this the perfect introduction to machine quilting.
Wendy even walks you through the steps required to add sashings. It is oh sew easy to adjust the sizes to fit your needs.
This quick and easy project is sure to become a favorite. Make a dozen in an afternoon and have them on hand for last minute gifts or gift card holders.
One 22-inch zipper will make 2 bags since the zipper is separated. Decorative zipper pulls can be purchased separately. The Gypsy Quilter® Zipper Jig makes adding the pull oh sew easy!
What a great Make It/Take It class this summer. What child wouldn’t want this hanging from their book bag and filled with necessities?
Big Color Balloon by Jean Ann Wright uses just 4 blocks to make this show stopper – the perfect table topper. All the bright colors can be cut from 2-½” strips—what a great pattern to showcase (and use up) strips in your stash. The high contrast between the wide logs and the narrow background strips highlights the center circle to perfection.
The Creative Grids® Skinny 10″Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool is required to make this topper. Since every round is trimmed before the next round is added, perfection is assured!
Franken-Patches by Sarah Fulks is a great stash buster. Or buy packs of 5-inch squares. The blocks are sub-cut after piecing so the finished design is much easier to achieve than you may think!
The instructions are written for an over-sized throw but you can add or delete blocks to make the quilt of your dreams. You may even learn a new technique along the way.
Hexagon Alley adds a modern twist to the traditional hexie blocks. Ann Anderson has designed this stunning quilt by creating rounds of hexies using the markings on the Creative Grids® Hexagon Trim Tool. Four and six-inch hexagons are surrounded by one or two rounds of strips to create this unique design. Combine them with 8-inch hexies and tiny triangles to complete the “alley”.
Ann continued the hexagon design into the quilting which adds that awe factor to this showstopper.
The hexies in this design are pieced with the Creative Grids® Hexagon Trim Tool by Jean Ann Wright. Why not try fussy cutting some of those hexies to create your unique design?

Gain confidence with angles and color placement, plan out curated flower shades, or use scraps from your stash for an eclectic look! Dancing Dahlias will give you a complicated look without tedious piecing. It is constructed of two main blocks, the flower blocks, and the leaf blocks, with side setting units that make construction a breeze with no Y seams. Each block illustrates a different technique using the Creative Grids® 60-Degree TINY Diamond Ruler.
This table runner by Krista Moser from Cut Loose Prres™ is the perfect choice for the summer holidays. Construction is simple – there are no Y-seams. But since the design is created with a combination of triangles, trapezoids, and half-triangles, it is a great way to learn how to use the ruler. The star field on opposite corners makes the finished project read “right side up” on either side of the table.
Use this 60 Degree Tiny Diamond Ruler to cut diamonds, hexagons, triangles, and 120 degree side-setting triangles up to 3-1/2 inches. It includes all of the features of Krista’s other diamond tools.
The Creative Grids® ruler and Cut Loose Press™ pattern are in stock now. The Dancing Dahlias pattern will be available later this month.
Egg-Straavaganza by Deb Heatherly is the perfect way to celebrate the season! The eggs are made with the Creative Grids® Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool for 4-inch finished blocks. Make it your own by changing colors or appliquéing letters or names on each egg.
The rickrack adds the awe factor and gives a decorative touch. The pieced border also adds to the Spring feel of this piece.
All you need is four coordinating fabrics to make this sweet quilt designed by Sarah Fulks, and that includes the background fabric. The instructions are written for an over-sized throw but you can add or delete blocks to make the quilt of your dreams. You may even learn a new technique for creating half-square triangles along the way using the Creative Grids® 4-in-1 Triangle Ruler.
From Cut Loose Press® by Rachelle Craig, Havenwood is the perfect beginner class or project! Just about every inch of the fabric is used in this quilt. Grab forty-2 1/2-inch strips (or cut your own), a background fabric and you are ready to go. Kitting not required!
Turning every other block creates the modern off-set look that gives this quilt its style.
The cover quilt is made with Pearl Splendor by Benartex. Or, cut your own strips with the Creative Grids® Stripology XL Ruler.
The 2-1/2″ slits are marked with squares – can’t get any easier than that! What a great way to use up scraps.
Deb Heatherly has released several patterns that are scrap-friendly. These patterns are created with simple, beginner friendly techniques and don’t require any specialty tools.
Stars Over Franklin is a great scrap quilt! Just (16) 2-1/2-inch strips create the star points in this quilt and give it that scrappy look. Add your favorite accent fabric, in Deb’s case, gold, background and borders to complete this generous 70 x 70-inch quilt. It is the perfect quilt to learn how to use the Creative Grids® Folded Corner Clipper or Corner Clipper XL for more than bindings. The instructions include an alternate method, however, so it is not required.
Just (34) 10-inch squares is all you need to create this generous 61 x 70-inch quilt. It also is an opportunity to use the Creative Grids® Folded Corner Clipper or Corner Clipper XL for more than bindings. All you need to add is the four B’s: background, borders, binding and backing.
Just 12 fat quarters or 3 yards of scraps, plus the borders, binding and backing is all you need to create this stunning quilt.
Deb lives in the Great Smoky Mountains and says that in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, this was called a postcard quilt because quilters used a postcard for the template to cut the pieces for this quilt. Don’t you love that little bit of history? Incorporating these units into the middle border adds the perfect finishing touch!
The Creative Grids® 3 ½” wide rulers make cutting these pieces easy as pie! That ruler comes in three different lengths: 12 1/2″; 18 1/2″ and 24 1/2″.
I LOVE this! It is stunning using a dark background! The Posies table runner and placemats are based on Robin’s Ring Around the Posies flowers. The lovely bloom of flowers on your tabletop are made from Charm Pack 5″ squares or Fat Eighths of fabric. This is also great for scraps! Table runner sized 42 1/2″ x 14 1/2″ and each of the 4 placemats is 18 1/2″ x 13 1/2″.
Check out the version done with a lighter background.
Use a charm pack, layer cake, or fat quarters to make this quilt of curves that radiate out from a center square. The background is just as important as the prints with 3 background colors adding movement and contrast. Make as a small wall quilt or larger lap size. Consider optional curved corners. Paper template included but a Creative Grids® Circle Savvy Ruler is recommended in instructions with notes on which ruler cut lines to use for this project.
Robin is a big fan of the Creative Grids® Circle Savvy Tool.
