This new seven month block of the month program by Leslie Ryan of Blooming Boldly is simply stunning! I usually don’t write about something that isn’t coming out until summer, but this one has deadline dates for preordering.

It is available as an individual pattern, a kit or a shop sample!

Quilt Kit

You may want to show the picture of this quilt and take pre-orders for the kit.

Ordering cut-off date for this quilt kit is May 14th, 2025. The Hyperion Quilt Kit includes pattern and fabric for quilt top and binding. Backing not included. Fabric featured is Expressions Batiks Polka Pop Elementals. Finished size is 64 1/2″ x 76 1/2″. Kit comes in a keepsake box. Box size is approximately 11″ x 12 1/4″ x 3 1/2″.

Shop Kit:

Original release date 10/31/2025. Ordering cut-off for this shop kit is May 14th, 2025. This shop kit includes:
– Fabric for one quilt top and binding (backing not included)
– A PIECED QUILT TOP–yes, not a digital, but a pieced top so stores can quilt and hang the sample right away to get sign ups.
– Suggested notions list
– Shop manual that includes instructions for each month, cutting instruction, teaching instructions, construction and add-on tips for how to use our suggested notions.
– Coordinating shop materials (2 posters and 50 bag stuffers).

I fell in love with this line of batiks as well from Riley Blake Designs, Polka Pop Collection. It is available as individual bolts, an 8-yard case pack, pre-cuts, and coordinated bundles of fat quarters. I chose to share the fat quarter bundles so you could see a thumbprint of each fabric.

Don’t you just love it??? Now to decide how you are going to market it…..

New Patterns from Blooming Boldly Designs

The Flutterby quilt pattern by Leslie Ryan of Blooming Boldly Designs is fat quarter friendly and features pieced butterflies and blossoms. Traditional piecing methods create this stunner. The finished size is 67″ x 76 1/2″.


Chromatic Blast is a play on the traditional Trip Around the World Quilt. It is so simple yet striking! Finished size is 68 1/2″ x 76 1/2″.


The Metaphor quilt features a series of squares radiating out from a center point. Finished size is 77″ x 77″.


The Color Shift quilt is fat quarter friendly and features pinwheels or windmills with a unique and intricate border. Finished size is 68 1/2″ x 84 1/2″.

May you find that any direction is the right direction with the Prismatic Compass Quilt. 5″ square friendly. Finished size is 53″ x 63 1/2″. Using traditional piecing methods, the pattern includes paper templates for the triangle in a square units. Even though templates are included a Tri-Recs or Triangle-in-a-Square ruler is recommended for ease of cutting.


The Liberty Spin quilt and runner is 5″ stacker friendly and features spinner blocks. Finished quilt size is 54 1/2″ x 68″. Finished runner size is 20″ x 74″.
