Pine Crossing is a cross stitch pattern showing stylized trees across the landscape with a couple of red birds popping out against the wintry forest scene. Appropriate for winter holidays and seasons or in other colors for any time of year.
“Seasonal Courier: Cardinal’s Winter” is a features a festive cardinal sitting upon his favorite pinecone. The bird celebrates the winter season with snowflakes of various sizes and top and bottom borders bring in added decoration and color and shapes reminiscent of quilt blocks. Cardinal’s Christmas is the first in a series of four Seasonal Courier birds.
Sweater Weather combines the love of quilt blocks in a soft color palette in the borders with a bolder color pinecone for the winter season in the center. Leafy vines surround the center pinecone rectangle. This cross stitch pattern is the first in the “Sweater Weather” series, with more seasons to come!

The mounted cross stitch is floated on Thatched Sprout 48626-135 from Robin Pickens for Moda Fabrics in a 8 3/4″ x 10 3/4″ frame.

Model is stitched on DMC Charles Craft Monaco 28 count white using two strands of DMC floss (over two strands). The 10″ x 8″ mounted cross stitch is floated on Winterly Landscape print in Pine from Moda Fabrics and Robin Pickens then framed in an 11″ x 14″ frame.
