The Latest from Quiltworx

Autumn Splendor was originally published in 2006 and has been off the market as a Quiltworx pattern for nearly 10 years. They routinely get requests to bring it back, and have decided it is time to run another limited release of this design. They have made some updates to the pattern layout (decreased the number of overlapping circles and have now included square up templates and options for adding expansion borders). The pattern is a relatively straightforward design, a good introductory pattern, and includes many of Judy’s trusted techniques including floating points, speed stacking and cutting, and traditional curved piecing. This pattern is created as a Collectors Club Design which means there are only 500 available for purchase. Pattern size 57 x 57

Judell’s covers are as eye catching as the quilts! This cover made me want to watch Game of Thrones all over again!

Geodes showcases a stunning display of rainbow fabrics.

This may be the best cover and name yet!

Welcome Fall with Krista Moser

I love how Krista’s mind works! How she combines 60 degree angles to make realistic leaf shapes boggles the mind. And don’t get me started on her fabric choices!

Fall in love with 60-degree angles with Krista Moser’s latest pattern, Fall Foliage. This pattern used the Creative Grids® 60-degree Diamond Mini Ruler to cut a variety of shapes including diamonds, triangles, and trapezoids to make these beautiful fall leaves.

There are two main blocks in this quilt, the leaves and the setting triangle units. These are made from simple shapes letting the fabric and shade do the heavy lifting to get the wow factor. This quilt is constructed into blocks first and then rows with no Y seams, making construction a breeze with well-illustrated step-by-step instructions. Finished Size: 57″ X 60.

New Tools to Improve Cutting

These RulerLips from Cotton Mills slip onto the end of most 1/8” thick acrylic rulers turning them into a T-Square. The lip rides along the edge of the cutting mat stabilizing the ruler and preventing slipping while cutting. They can be used on a variety of ruler sizes and can also be used to connect rulers. Each package contain two 6” RulerLips. To remove simply pull it off.

The Ruler Knob easily attaches to almost any smooth flat top ruler with its powerful clear suction cup. This 1-3/4″ suction cup makes ruler pickup and placement easy. It not only helps steady the ruler, it also keeps your hands away from the rotary blade.

For best results wipe ruler and suction cup clean before use. Moisten suction cup for maximum hold. Both products are due to arrive later this month so place your orders now.
