Elizabeth tried to keep some of the block designs ambiguous enough to be interpreted as different types of dogs, so you can have fun mixing and matching fabrics to make blocks that look more like your own furry friends. Dog Park includes instructions for making a 68” x 86” Large Quilt with Tennis Ball Borders, a 68” x 72” Large Quilt, a 55” x 60” Medium Quilt, and a 40” x 50” Small Quilt.

The name alone is enough to want me to buy the pattern! Puff In Boots is a raw-edge appliqué beginner friendly project. This charming 18″ x 18″ puffin donning rain boots and a hat, can be transformed into a wall hanging, a pillow, or a quilt block. Trace the pattern pieces onto double-stick fusible interfacing, such as Steam-A-Seam 2, and apply them to your fabric. Cut the pieces, place them on a background and fuse them together using an iron. Finally, finish off your project by topstitching the pieces together, and voila! Your creation is complete!
